Rascular expands NDI ecosystem with new multiviewer

The ViewMaster Pro multiviewer supports up to four separate outputs, which can be configured to generate a unique NDI source with audio on the network

Rascular is launching a new multi-output version of its ViewMaster VR for broadcast.

The ViewMaster Pro multiviewer supports up to four separate outputs, which can be configured to generate a unique NDI source with audio on the network, that can then be used for monitoring purposes. The audio can be selected from any of the sources in the multiview, said the company.

Both versions of the multiviewer can be configured via a webpage, enabling users to make live adjustments as well as easily configure control of the company’s NDI routing solutions – RouteMaster VR and VR Lite – from within the multiviewer. This gives users the ability to create routes and switch paths, with any available source able to be routed to any available output, providing an all-in-one approach for a multitude of applications, said Rascular.

ViewMaster VR can display up to 36 NDI Sources in a variety of layouts. The multiviewer can also display NDI tallies, showing at a glance which sources are in Preview and Live.

Ephraim Barrett, sales director, Rascular, said, “We’re constantly evolving our NDI ecosystem as the market expands alongside customer requirements. ViewMaster VR Pro takes all the benefits of the single monitor version into a multi-head environment. This expansion also includes our brilliant new configuration and control options, especially the ability to configure and control our NDI routing solutions from within the multiviewer.”
