The new DSC938 Digital Video Switcher is being aimed at live broadcast, shows and presentations, as well as studio production.
The DSC938 supports 14 sources – 10 external inputs, two internal video players and two internal still picture inputs – each with a corresponding button on the preview and program control console of the switcher.
All these sources can be monitored by means of the built-in multiviewer with HDMI output, via any HD monitor or TV. The device also has the ability to use two chromakeys and a combined image of up to four PiPs as an input.
The DSC938 is available in two variants: either a rack mount base unit and standalone control console; or as a portable, all-in-one video studio complete with monitor, weighing 7kg.
