Channel 4 to broadcast 100 hours of Paralympic Games

Clare Balding leads coverage beginning 9th March

Channel 4 is to broadcast 100 hours of coverage of the Winter Paralympic Games in Pyeongchang, due to start Friday 9th March.

The 100 hours will be spread across two of the network’s channels – Channel 4 and 4Seven – and will include live coverage of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, live coverage of the events and highlights programmes. There will also be audio highlights of the events.

The presentation team – led by Clare Balding – will be based at a purpose-built broadcast centre at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead. Balding will be joined by several pundits including Britain’s double Paralympic 100 metres gold medallist Jonnie Peacock, former wheelchair basketball player Ade Adepitan and ex-British Paralympic cyclist Arthur Williams.
