The joint US streaming service from BBC Studios and ITV, Britbox, is expanding its live program offering with the launch daily British breakfast shows as well as a number of new drama series.
Good Morning Britain featuring Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, as well as ITV’s This Morning, with Phillip Schofield & Holly Willoughby, will soon feature on the service.
Britbox will also add drama mini-series Three Girls and new original drama Dark Heart, a TV adaptation of popular literary series from the creators of Vera and Shetland.
“Britbox is proudly a mass niche service. We blend the immediacy of broadcast with the swagger of a digital streamer creating what I like to call a “broad-streamer,” said Britbox president Soumya Sriraman.
“We feature the stars you know, the stars you will know soon and one-of-a-kind originals that with an unmatched library of classic and current entertainment gives you the unapologetically British experience.”
