Webinar to show benefits of Artesyn and Intel technology

Registration is still open for the free webinar happening this Wednesday, 4 December, on ‘How to drive up channel density and drive down cost using the Intel technology you already know.’

Registration is still open for the free webinar happening this Wednesday, 4 December, on ‘How to drive up channel density and drive down cost using the Intel technology you already know.’ Using two example applications, the webinar will illustrate the CapEx savings, while driving down OpEx thanks to lower power and cooling requirements.

The presenters will also show how, through OpenStack and Artesyn’s SharpStreamer technology, applications can also be deployed virtually – taking advantage of cloud provisioning and management – so they are not constrained to bare metal hardware.

Linsey Miller, director of marketing at Artesyn Embedded Technologies, will present the event with Rik Dunphy, senior software architect at Intel’s Data Center Group. Miller is director of marketing for server acceleration products, and drives solutions and partnerships designed to enable Artesyn’s customers to maximise the performance and efficiency of their server-based technologies. She has previously held senior sales and marketing positions with Emerson Network Power, Interphase and Verizon.

Dunphy focuses on video, media and graphics solutions for cloud and communications markets. Joining Intel in 2004 he brought with him many years of experience in embedded and telecommunication system knowledge. Since 2010 he has played a key role in enabling the Intel’s Quick Sync Video for Server and Embedded deployments through the Intel Media Server Studio. Working with independent hardware, software and solution vendors Intel has built an ecosystem of vertical solutions for video workloads built on the hardware accelerations for MPEG2 and H.264 within Intel’s HD and Iris Graphics.

Registration for the free event can be completed here.
