Video over IP company Techex has announced a strategic partnership with Mellanox Technologies, a supplier of end-to-end Ethernet and InfiniBand intelligent interconnect solutions and services.
The two companies have formed the partnership to offer media networks solutions for the broadcast industry.
Richard Bailey, managing director at Techex said “I am really excited to have Mellanox as one of our strategic partners. Mellanox is emerging as a real force in the media industry and they are working closely with organisations like AMWA and developing solutions ready to deploy IP-Based Transport Standards for broadcast.”
Mellanox offers a range of full and half rack width, low latency, high throughput, non-blocking switches, which the two companies say are “perfect for broadcast infrastructures along with the ability to host Docker containers such as AMWA NMOS IS-04, 05 and 06 and Embrionix em-Set control directly on the switch.”
