Tata Communications appoints new CEO

Amur S Lakshmi previously served as president and CEO of TCS Japan

Amur S Lakshminarayanan (Lakshmi) has been appointed managing director and group chief executive officer – designate of Tata Communications.

Lakshmi brings over 35 years of leadership experience, included his role of president and CEO of TCS Japan.

As MD and CEO – designate, Lakshmi will advise Tata Communications’ Interim Management Committee. The Board will appoint Lakshmi as the MD and CEO upon receipt of the necessary regulatory approvals.
