The deal will enable Verbit's customers to benefit from Take 1's expertise in unscripted production workflows, Ofcom and FCC compliance and multi-language audio descriptions

Transcription and localisation studio Take 1 has been acquired by US-based company Verbit.

According to Verbit, the deal bolsters its growing presence in Europe following its acquisition of UK market research specialist Take Note in March.

It added that the acquisition will enable Verbit’s customers to benefit from Take 1’s expertise in unscripted production workflows, Ofcom and FCC compliance and multi-language audio descriptions. The acquisition will also enhance its performance and delivery of UK English language requests, said Verbit.
