Sony Pictures Television has sold off its entire suite of UK television channels to US investment firm Narrative Capital.
The pact includes Sony’s seven free-to-air channels, Sony Movies, Sony Movies Action, Sony Movies Classic, Sony Channel, POP, Tiny POP and POP Max, as well as its various digital assets.
All of the channels will be re-branded and will sit under the Narrative Entertainment banner.
It’s thought all 35 of SPT’s UK employees will remain in London.
According to Variety, Narrative intends launched an AVoD platform that encompasses the various brands.
Financial details of the deal have not been revealed.
