Sky has today launched its new contract-free Now TV Combo, a bundle which offers television, unlimited broadband as well as a range of call packages.
The new Now TV Smart Box combines live and on-demand TV with up to 35 pay-TV and over 60 free-to-air TV channels. The box is part of the Now TV Combo triple-play bundle, which starts at £9.99 a month plus line rental.
This may attract viewers who currently don’t pay for a TV package, and are reluctant to sign up to a lengthy, and expensive contract.
Gidon Katz, managing director of Now TV said: "With the Now TV Combo, we’re pushing the boundaries again with the UK’s first contract-free triple play bundle. We know people want the freedom and control of a no strings relationship when it comes to choosing their TV, broadband and call package."
The new Now TV homepage offers editorial recommendations updated throughout the day. The service offers a live pause functionality of up to 30 minutes.
The Now TV box is priced at £39 and the service has a £40 set-up fee. Users must then pick from a number of Now TV Month Passes, one of which incorporates Sky Sports channels, with prices ranging from £9.99 to £51.99 per month, plus line rental at £17.99 per month.
