Louis Rostoucher joins film and TV music licensing platform SphereTrax

SphereTrax has secured £250,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by early-stage focused venture capital firm Jenson Funding Partners, followed by an additional £100,000 from Fintage House

Film and TV music licensing platform SphereTrax has appointed Louis Rostoucher to the newly created role of head of sales and marketing.

The appointment follows the recent news that SphereTrax has secured £250,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by early-stage focused venture capital firm Jenson Funding Partners, followed by an additional £100,000 from Fintage House, an independent Dutch company that deals with film, TV and digital rights.

Rostoucher joins from PlayNetwork, a music tech business providing in-store and digital curated music, original and managed video programmes, content licensing, and consumer insights.

SphereTrax’s users include media production companies, brands and creative agencies. The platform’s unique search engine feature allows users to browse, search and source songs and instrumentals easily, whilst also being able to connect with the artists directly. All tracks uploaded to the platform are converted to Dolby Atmos as standard.

Speaking about Rostoucher’s appointment SphereTrax founder and CEO Sefi Carmel said: “Louis’ background working with Apple Music and PlayNetwork, as well as being a big music fan, make him perfect for the role. We’re delighted to be growing our team and expanding following our recent investment and feel excited to officially launch the platform with Louis on board.”
