Benjamin Desbois appointed as Telestream CEO

Desbois moves into the role as co-founder and CEO Dan Castles transitions into executive chair of the board

Telestream has announced the appointment of Bejamin Desbois as chief executive officer, replacing co-founder and CEO Dan Castles as part of a planned leadership transition.

Currently chief growth and strategy officer at the company, Desbois has worked closely with the executive leadership team to sharpen Telestream’s strategic focus, enhance engagement with partners and customers, and align the company around the demands of modern media organisations. He will step into the role from 1st July, with Castles becoming executive chair of the board.

Prior to joining Telestream, Desbois held senior roles at Backlight, Avid Technology and Dalet in a career that has spanned more than two decades with a focus on commercial, product and strategic initiatives. In his current role, Desbois has helped drive the company’s go-to-market strategy and bolstered its position as a partner to broadcasters, content owners, sports organisations and more, said Telestream.
