Arqiva appoints Mark Steele as chief of operations

Steele joined the company in 2015, rising to become director of field operations, responsible for the company's engineers managing UK TV and radio broadcasting

Mark Steele has been officially appointed as chief of operations at Arqiva, having been named in an interim capacity earlier this year.

Steele joined the company in 2015, rising to become director of field operations, responsible for the company’s engineers managing UK TV and radio broadcasting.

Previously, he worked at Virgin Media holding various roles, including head of network and business operations support.

Speaking about Steele’s permanent appointment, Arqiva CEO Shuja Khan said: “Both during Mark’s nine years with Arqiva and previously, he has managed the whole gambit of operational functions. So, it gives me great to pleasure to confirm his appointment as our new chief of operations. Not only does he bring a phenomenal depth of knowledge of our business, he also brings a drive for innovation. Mark and his team have a huge role to play in delivering an exciting future for Arqiva and I look forward to working him to bring this to a reality for us and our customers”.
