Netflix has appointed Anna Mallett as VP of physical production, where she will oversee all production in the UK as well as local language production across EMEA, LATAM and APAC.
Mallett will join the streamer from ITN where she has been CEO since April 2019.
At Netflix she will lead the production management team across these regions for live-action series, non-fiction and film. She will be based in London, reporting to VP of worldwide physical production Ty Warren.
Speaking about her appointment, Mallett said: “I am thrilled to be joining Netflix at this exciting time as the company continues to accelerate its production of great stories from all over the world. Netflix is a creative powerhouse, and I am looking forward to working with my exceptional new colleagues across the UK, EMEA, LATAM and APAC to bring the very best films and series to audiences everywhere.”
She will take up her new role in 2021.
