After announcing plans to open a new office in Paris last week, Netflix has now revealed a fourth European office will open in Madrid next year.
The new office will be separate from the planned new Spanish production hub, which is due to be based outside Madrid.
“With the recent commitment to a production hub in Spain, and our level of investment in local originals ramping up significantly, we have decided to open a Madrid office next year to complement the activities of the hub and support our increasing business in the region,” said Erik Barmack, Netflix VP of international originals.
Some of the company’s existing employees in Amsterdam will be moved to the new Madrid office.
