ITV could sell South Bank studios for £150 million

CEO Carolyn McCall confirmed plans to sell the site in 2018

ITV could raise at least £150 million in selling its South Bank studios, according to the Financial Times.

The report states that the site will be used for a 31-storey residential tower with 213 apartments, as well as a separate office and studio project.

ITV bought the complex in 2013 for £56 million, but moved out for the building to be refurbished in early 2018. CEO Carolyn McCall decided to sell the site last year.

The broadcaster now runs network operations from its central London offices, while certain programmes are filmed at Television Centre.
