Gearhouse Broadcast owner Gravity Media Group (GMG) has announced the acquisition of French radio frequency (RF) transmission specialist ACTIS. The newly-named Gearhouse Actis will form the foundation for the development of a broader broadcast rental, sales and systems integration offering to French and French speaking customers.
GMG will invest in Gearhouse Actis to help it to support the existing management team and a much larger inventory of broadcast and RF equipment. GMG aims to use its international reach to gain new RF opportunities for Gearhouse Actis within the group.
“This is a proud day for us and marks the start of an exciting new chapter for our business,” said Mathieu Rocton, general manager at ACTIS. “With Gearhouse’s global reach, industry expertise and relationships with leading manufacturers, we’ll be able to considerably expand our offering to customers, as well as further enhance and develop our cutting-edge RF technology.”
