Former Google Android TV executive Sascha Prüter has joined Vewd as the company’s new chief product officer.
Prüter led Google’s product and engineering efforts for Android TV and worked with leading smart TV OEMs, OTT providers and pay-TV operators to establish the platform globally.
He joins Vewd in the role of chief product officer and has been tasked with leading all product management efforts, with a special focus on Vewd’s emerging portfolio of pay-TV operator products, including the recently announced Vewd OS for Android TV.
