Comcast ‘interested in acquiring Fox assets’

Comes a week after reports of talks between Fox and Disney

Comcast has reportedly approached 21st Century Fox about buying some of its assets.

CNBC, owned by Comcast, reports the company is interested in acquiring Fox’s film and TV studio, some of its cable networks and its stakes in Sky, Star India and the Hulu streaming service.

The Fox Broadcasting Co., local television stations, Fox News Channel and Fox Sports would not be included in a possible sale.

The talks are ongoing, according to the business news channel.

It comes a week after CNBC reported Disney had held discussions with Fox.
