Cinegy’s new Production Pack is an integrated, end-to-end, HD/SD, digital media production and management system aimed at post production environments and production houses.
The Cinegy Production Pack is a collaborative, fully-integrated software solution ideally suited to production environments. It provides a complete framework for managing every aspect of production—ingest, logging, creative editorial, editorial finishing and delivery—while preserving and providing immediate access to essential metadata at every point along the way. Cinegy Convert enables seamless integration with Avid and Final Cut Pro editing systems without the need to re-digitize media. Its commodity workflow architecture, meanwhile, facilitates simultaneous access to data in multiple formats – producers can access proxies even as editors work with the same assets in high resolution format.
Based on standard PC hardware and IT infrastructure, Cinegy software is built on an open platform consisting of a suite of tools, applications and open APIs that allows television and film production to shift into the next gear without being taken hostage by a particular vendor’s proprietary solution (says the company). Cinegy software integrates fully with traditional production and post production processes, including non-linear editing systems, and can be implemented without requiring investment in a completely new infrastructure.
