Christof Wahl to leave ProSiebenSat.1

Wahl has expanded the Group's digital business as chief operating officer

Christof Wahl, chief operating officer of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, will leave the company under mutual consent at the end of July.

Wahl is one of the architects of ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s digital business, having built up and expanded this area in the last few years.

He joined the company in February 2015 and was first responsible for the Digital Entertainment business as managing director. As of May 1st, 2016, he was appointed chief operating officer for Digital Entertainment.

Most recently, he oversaw the entertainment segment for the online video business, AdTech and data field, the distribution of entertainment content as well as the partnerships within the European Media Alliance.

“I thank Christof Wahl on behalf of the whole Supervisory Board for the excellent development and expansion of areas that are relevant for ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s digital future,” said Dr Werner Brandt, supervisory board chairman of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE.

“Under his leadership, essential strategic decisions have been made as the start of an own AdTech stack, the launch of the leading German data alliance NetID as well as the strengthening of Studio71’s position as one of the leading global companies in the video segment. I wish Christof Wahl the best of luck and every success in his future endeavours.”
