Peter Angell, the director of the Production and Programming Division, Host Broadcast Services (HBS), has left the company, writes Adrian Pennington. HBS says Angell has left to “embark upon new challenges within the industry” and is searching for a replacement. Peter Angell played a key role within the HBS team since November 2000. After being Head of Production for the 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cups, he was in charge of developing production and programming capabilities for various sports events for HBS and IGBS (a joint venture between HBS and IMG Media) and helped developing HBS’s innovative capabilities in 3D production projects. Francis Tellier, CEO of HBS, said: “I want to thank Peter for his commitment and for his achievements in diversifying our business in the area of Production and Programming. He leaves this segment ready for further growth and we wish him all the best for his future career.” HBS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Infront Sports & Media. www.hbs.tv
