Alchimie, SFR sign factual content deal

Available for all SFR Power and Premium subscribers

Content aggregator and dynamic distributor Alchimie has signed a three-year agreement to provide French telecom company SFR with 2,000 hours of documentary content to populate its factual VoD channels.

The programmes will cover topics such as nature, culture, history, society and travel, and will be available in the replay category of all SFR Power and Premium subscribers.

Working in partnership with rights holders and owners on a revenue share basis, Alchimie’s services provide digitisation, translation, subtitles, dubbing and dynamic promotion for premium content.

“We’re delighted to partner with SFR,” said Alchimie CEO Nicolas d’Hueppe.This deal demonstrates Alchimie’s ability to offer a selection of the best of factual programming, one of the most extensive in Europe, across a range of topics that can be tailored to the subscribers’ interests of any pay-TV operators in Europe. 

“We’re also proud that SFR has assigned Alchimie with the task to animate its Documentary Replay category with the objective to maximise subscribers engagement,” he added.
