Adder Technology moves to employee ownership

The move "protects the long-term independence of the business", said the company, with no immediate changes to the senior leadership or day-to-day operations of the business planned

IP KVM specialists Adder Technology has announced a transition to Employee-Ownership via an Employee-Ownership Trust (EOT) model.

The EOT said it has acquired the majority shareholding of the company for “the benefit of employees across its global operations”.

The move “protects the long-term independence of the business”, added the company, with no immediate changes to the senior leadership or day-to-day operations of the business planned.

Adrian Dickens, Founder and CEO at Adder, said, “By transitioning to an employee-owned business we are laying the foundations for Adder’s next chapter. For over 40 years our success has been driven by the ingenuity, experience and dedication of our people.

“Employee ownership strengthens our independence, protects the culture that defines us, and ensures that the benefits of our future success are shared by the people who make it possible. This is a positive and future-focused step that positions us strongly for the long term.”
