Accedo and Magine Pro have agreed to merge their SaaS businesses.
The two companies have entered into a partnership to combine Accedo One and Magine Pro in a newly formed business, which will provide SaaS solutions for OTT streaming services around the world.
Although operating independently from the Accedo Group, the new business will utilise its global network and resources. Current CEO of Accedo One, Markus Hejdenberg, will lead the new company following regulatory approval expected later this month. Matthew Wilkinson, CEO of Magine Pro will take on the role of CCO while Kamal Bherwani will be appointed chairman of the board.

Incoming CCO Wilkinson said, “With the maturing market for streaming, we believe that the winners will be the companies that can best help customers build thriving OTT businesses. Accedo is an ideal partner to create a joint venture with Magine, given their global reach, mature tech stack and headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.”
