5USA has acquired the exclusive free to air rights for CBS drama Bull.
The series counts Steven Spielberg and Dr Phil McGraw among its producers and is inspired by the early career of McGraw. The show will premiere on 5USA in the summer.
It stars Michael Weatherly as Dr Bull, who is described as the ultimate puppet master as he combines psychology, human intuition and high tech data to learn what makes jurors, attorneys, witnesses and the accused tick.
Katie Keenan, head of acquisitions for Channel 5 and VIMN UK said: “Michael Weatherly has an army of fans for his work on NCIS, and I’m thrilled that Channel 5 is able to bring his brand new series to the K. Our 5USA audience loves gripping US drama and I can’t wait for them to meet Dr Jason Bull.”
