UHD playout solutions company BBright has announced the successful interoperability of its playout solution with Jünger Audio’s flexAI platform.

The collaboration enables the transport of Serialised ADM (S-ADM) metadata over the new SMPTE ST 2110-41 standard, marking a significant advancement in next-generation audio workflows, said the company.
The development means broadcasters will be able to deliver immersive and object-based audio experiences in both live and recorded productions.
“We are thrilled to demonstrate the interoperability of our playout solution with Jünger Audio’s AIXpressor,” said Guillaume Arthuis, founder and managing director at BBright. “The ability to transport S-ADM over ST 2110-41 opens new horizons for broadcasters aiming to implement next-generation audio workflows, including Dolby Atmos & AC4 for example.”
“Jünger Audio has been at the forefront of immersive and object-based audio processing innovation for years,” added Friedemann Kootz, co-CEO at Jünger Audio. “With our successful integration with BBright’s technology our companies pave the way for seamless, high-quality object-based audio transmission, ensuring broadcasters have the next-generation tools to deliver exceptional listening experiences.”
