Desktop software supports MXF, HDR

Desktop Software v12.5 for Kona, T-Tap and the Io family of video and audio input/output devices are on stand at AJA Video Systems.

The software update includes new support for MXF files and HDR pipelines, increases streaming capabilities and adds SMPTE 2022-7 support for the IP video-based Kona IP.

“With v12.5, we’ve added a host of some of the most highly requested customer features, including the ability to read and write DNxHD and DNxHR MXF files, said Nick Rashby, president of AJA.

“In addition to already existing SMPTE 2022-6 support, new SMPTE 2022-7 support for Kona IP is another step in simplifying the transition to IP-based methods of moving data.”

AJA’s stand is packed with new technologies. This also includes KUMO 6464, a compact 3G-SDI router with 64 3G-SDI inputs and 64 3G-SDI outputs; Ki Pro Ultra v2.0 firmware, which adds support for Avid DNxHD; and the RovoRx-SDI HDBaseT receiver and updated RovoControl v2.0 software.
