Reed Hastings announces book about Netflix

Details the company's culture of "flexibility, speed, and boldness"

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings has announced an upcoming book about the company’s rise from DVD rental service to streaming giant.

Due for publication by Penguin Press on 12th May, No Rules Rules: Netflix and the Culture of Reinvention was written by Hastings and business professor Erin Meyer.

The 320-page book is based on hundreds of interviews with Netflix employees, including “never-before-told stories of trial and error” from Hastings’ career, according to the publisher.

No Rules Rules details the company’s culture of “flexibility, speed, and boldness,” leading to its expansion into 190 countries as of the end of 2019.

There is no word yet on a Netflix Original spin-off show.
