The BBC, NBCUniversal and Eurosport have all acquired rights to Eliud Kipchoge’s sub-two hour marathon attempt.
The BBC will live stream the event in the UK, NBCU on the Olympic Channel, and Eurosport on Eurosport 2 across 54 countries in Europe and 12 countries throughout the Asia-Pacific region, as well as on its website.
The Ineos 1:59 Challenge will take place on 12th October in The Prater, Vienna, Austria. The event marks Kipchoge’s second attempt to become the first person to run a marathon in under two hours.
Last month, Sunset+Vine was selected to provide 360-degree host broadcast, digital and distribution services for the historic record attempt.
