netgem.tv and Three UK launch TV recommendation service

Said to be the most advanced TV service for the mobile generation

TV technology and service provider netgem.tv has partnered with Three UK to offer a TV recommendation service across live channels, Freeview Play catch-up and major on-demand services.

The NetBox 4K device, available via Three’s ‘Wuntu’ app, marks the expansion of netgem.tv to an advanced multiscreen TV service.

The service includes 50,000 hours worth of on-demand content, with access to YouTube 4K and the latest recommended titles from streaming services such as Amazon Prime, Rakuten and Hayu.

Viewers will also be able to use their smartphone as a personal planner, recorder, remote control and casting device.

Sylvain Thevenot, netgem.tv managing director, said: “This is a perfect partnership for netgem.tv. We recognise that modern TV viewers increasingly turn to their mobile devices for access to their favourite shows, streamed live or on-demand at the touch of a button.

“So we created netgem.tv, the TV service for the mobile generation – Three was the perfect partner to launch this new way of watching TV.
