Broadcasting association ENEX has selected Rohde & Schwarz’s IP contribution solution R&S RelayCaster for its new global contribution and distribution network.
ENEX is an association of the world’s leading commercial TV broadcasters, with members sharing their news content and news production resources. It provides more than 40,000 news videos a year and more than 2,000 live sources.
The association required connection between the master control rooms of its worldwide partners, with high stability, low latency and low investment.
R&S RelayCaster distributes live content over unmanaged IP networks using optional encryption based on the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). By reducing packet loss to a minimum, the solution offers high transmission reliability.
