Spanish broadcasters TVE1, Antena 3 TV and Televisión Canaria, once again chose Brainstorm Multimedia to cover the regional elections which took place on Sunday 24 May.
The broadcasters used Brainstorm’s applications and solutions for virtual studios, augmented reality and 3D real-time graphics based on the Infinity Set, eStudio and Aston 3D respectively.
The Television Canaria project, managed by the production company Videoreport Canarias, used Brainstorm to help showcase the election results. A combination of virtual set solution Infinity Set, and creative design, CG and playout system Aston 3D, formed the core of the products and services used, allowing Television Canaria to broadcast real-time 3D graphics. In addition, Brainstorm’s on-site team in Tenerife managed all incoming data streams, minimising processing times and allowing real-time updates.
With the aim of maximising performance output and enhancing the visual impact of the election programme, Brainstorm provided Antena 3 TV with a sensorised Mo-sys crane and a Vinten tripod.
TVE, Spain’s national broadcaster, chose eStudio for its election graphics requirements. To complement the Infinity Set virtual studio application Brainstorm integrated the NCAM, a new tracking system based on image recognition.
