TRT’s broadcast coverage of the recent Turkish elections made use of the new Egripment Encoded Package for Cranes. The TDT6 crane package and the 306 remote head were both equipped with high-resolution encoders.
The coverage of the elections – which took place in June – combined a classic virtual studio and an augmented reality component.
All pan and tilt data from the TDT6 and the 306 were transferred to the TDT Tracking interface and combined with the lens data, in such a manner that all data could be used for the Virtual functions of the broadcast.
A partnership between Egripment and Orad facilitate the transfer of data per UDP to the rendering machine.
