TVE Spain has invested in two Synergy 4 digital production switchers from Ross Video. The switchers will be installed in the Barcelona studios and were sold via Moncada y Lorenz., Ross’ dealer in Spain.
TVE Spain has a long history with Ross Video, having acquired several Synergy switchers in the past. When the time arrived to upgrade production studios, the decision was to invest in Ross. The two Synergy 4 switchers will be installed in Studios 5 and 6 at the production centre in San Cugat del Vallés, Barcelona. TVE produces its flagship dramatic and entertainment programming at the centre.
Sharon Quigley, Ross video manager of international sales for EAIME said, “over the past year TVE has installed several Synergy switchers throughout facilities in Spain. The Synergy 4 is the largest switcher in the Synergy line up and is designed to handle demanding live broadcast applications.”
Synergy SD are multi-purpose live production switchers. The Synergy 4 is used for top market news, sports or live productions. Synergy offers a growth path to multi-definition with the MD and MD-X line of digital production switchers.
