Liberty Global has partnered with Piksel to help improve its broadcast and OTT TV services.
Headquartered in New York, Piksel has been brought in to supply core metadata aggregation and enrichment solutions, and it’s Piksel Fuse product will, according to the companies, ‘deliver improved content discovery services to millions of Liberty TV customers’.
Olivier Philippe, Liberty’s VP CTO of development, said, “Our customers’ needs are core to our approach, and we’re always looking at ways in which to improve their experience of our products.
“The investment we’re making in this new partnership means that our TV customers will be able to enjoy an enhanced overall viewing experience.”
The technology will be implemented to improve search, discovery and recommendation services for Liberty Global’s TV customers.
