At BVE 2013, Matrox Video Products Group will demonstrate multi-channel streaming systems, scan converters, I/O devices and multiviewers. Matrox VS4 is a quad HD capture and ISO recording card for use with Telestream Wirecast for Windows live streaming production software. In a single PCIe slot, Matrox VS4 provides up to four independent HD inputs with up to eight embedded audio channels per source. Matrox VS4 not only sends video feeds to Wirecast for streaming, it simultaneously provides ISO recording of all the original video and audio feeds to disk – ready for post-event editing. Matrox Convert DVI Plus is an HD-SDI scan converter that lets broadcasters incorporate content from computers, iPads and iPhones into news programmes. The solution is ideal for creating broadcast-quality video from computer applications running on Mac computers or PCs such as Skype, YouTube, Google Earth and FaceTime, as well as video games and web browser sessions. In addition, Matrox Convert DVI Plus can be used to drive projectors and large displays at live events. Matrox MXO2 LE MAX (pictured) provides broadcast-quality video and audio input and output for editing applications including Adobe CS6 Production Premium, Apple Final Cut Pro X and the new Avid Media Composer 6.5. It also turbocharges H.264 encoding for deliveries to the web, mobile devices and Blu-ray. In addition, Matrox MXO2 LE MAX offers a portable capture and ISO recording solution for Telestream Wirecast for Windows enabling users to stream live events from anywhere there is an internet connection. Matrox MicroQuad is a four-channel SDI-to-HDMI multiviewer for 3G/HD/SD. It lets broadcasters and A/V professionals use an HDMI display to view up to four SDI video signals and show or hide labels and VU meters. Its 10-bit scaling engine and filtering algorithms ensure a crisp, artifact-free monitoring experience. The small device is ideal for OB vans, on-set productions, and live events. All controls are on the unit itself, so no computer is required. Alternatively, broadcasters can use the Windows-based Matrox MicroQuad Remote application to control the unit from a distance.F21
