The IABM, the organisation that represents broadcast and media technology suppliers worldwide, has announced that Roger Stanwell will take over the leadership of the association from 10 March, writes Fergal Ringrose.

With many years of broadcast technology experience and well-known across the industry, Roger was one of the founders of the organisation and worked as Managing Director of Trilogy Broadcast Ltd.

He commented: “It is a privilege to take the CEO role of the IABM and to be given the opportunity to build on the excellent progress made over recent years under Roger Crumpton’s leadership. The broadcast and media supply sector continues its rapid rate of change and I see no sign of this slowing in the years ahead. The sector definition is still widening and I really look forward to working with our members worldwide to ensure that the IABM is truly relevant and beneficial to their business needs.”

Departing CEO, Roger Crumpton, who will be moving into a new part-time corporate post commented: “I am thrilled that Roger Stanwell has decided to take over my role in the IABM. He has a wealth of experience both in the sector and with the Association. I look forward to working with him and wish him every success at the helm in this exciting time.”
