Cinegy has provided a collaborative production environment for Turkish production company Gol Medya. It gives it the flexibility to be able to deliver TRT Sport’s popular new football magazine programme Futbol Atesi immediately after the games conclude. All live feeds of Turkish Super League games – between nine and 18 matches a week – are ingested into the Cinegy storage network at Gol Medya. While they are being ingested the production team are previewing and tagging the action, and editors are starting work. It means each highlights package is ready to go to air immediately once the game finishes. “We found Cinegy easy to set up and easy to use,” said Bora Beyzade, operations director at Gol. “We could start up very quickly, and with the efficiency and ease of use that Cinegy provides we succeeded easily.”The system was designed and implemented by Cinegy in conjunction with Osratek Billsim, a reseller in Turkey that specialises in helping its clients migrate from tape to file-based infrastructure, developing new workflows and managing the transition of staff to new working practices. www.cinegy.com
