Cedato has launched its Open Video API.
The new API offers a programming interface for Cedato’s smart video player and a framework for developing native video advertising experiences.
According to the company, it provides ways to engage with viewers whilst boosting video inventory and engagement.
Open Video API was designed to enable the company’s partners and customers to quickly build a range of new native video ad products with built-in, fully-responsive support for any screen and device. It was developed to provide all the necessary building blocks for customising engaging advertising experiences with control over player initiation, signalling events and sound.
The company has produced a set of unique native video ad units, aiming to showcase how easy it is to create and implement incremental native video within existing non-video content and feeds.
