Streaming service Paramount Plus launches in Italy today (15th September).
It is available online, on mobile devices and a wide range of connected TV devices via distribution through Apple, Amazon, Google, Samsung and more.
Paramount Plus will also launch on Sky platforms in Italy as part of a new multi-year distribution agreement.
The service is already live in the UK, US, Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean, Australia, and South Korea.
A star-studded launch evening took place at the Cinecittà Studios in Rome last night with the likes of Harrison Ford, Jessica Chastain, Helen Mirren, Sylvester Stallone and Miles Teller attending.
“Tonight, we are celebrating the debut of Paramount Plus, which seamlessly combines Hollywood with Italian storytelling and creativity,” Tom Ryan, president and chief executive officer, streaming, Paramount, told the assembled guests.
“Italy has been a home to Paramount for many years and now we’re bringing the best Italian – and global – films and series together in one place, on Paramount Plus.”
