QTV worked with systems integrator ES Broadcast to update its video routing and switching solutions

Bespoke production services and outside broadcast facilities company QTV has enhanced its sports broadcasting capabilities to better serve its clients, including the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL), BBC, EBU, and World Archery.

For the Scottish Premiership (SPFL), QTV delivers 180 matches a season as well as managing the league’s post production, world feeds and streaming distribution. The company also hosts the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) operations centre for the Scottish FA.

QTV worked with systems integrator ES Broadcast to update its video routing and switching solutions, adopting Ross Video products including Ultrix routers, Carbonite switchers and openGear infrastructure.

“Our partnership with Ross Video and ES Broadcast has been a game-changer for us at QTV,” said Gareth Gordon, chief technology officer at QTV. “Their cutting-edge solutions have not only allowed us to produce top-quality content but have been instrumental in our expansion and success in the sports broadcasting sector. Their exceptional support and innovation are invaluable to our operations, and we look forward to many more years of successful cooperation.”
