Hollywood Park Studios and Warner Bros Studios’ The Ranch Lot have been finalised as two campuses that will support delivery of the LA28 Olympic Games.
Following approval by the International Olympic Committee Executive Board, the two campuses will each play a role in supporting global broadcast operations and accredited media.
Main Press Center operations will be hosted at Hollywood Park Studios, with the facility providing production capabilities alongside space for live stand-ups and a variety of Games-time operational functions.
Although the role was originally expected to be handled by Hollywood Park Studios, The Ranch will now provide the home for the International Broadcast Center (IBC).
As the operational base for media rights holders with exclusive Games coverage distribution rights, the campus offers the infrastructure and production facilities to support one of the largest temporary broadcast operations in the world, said the LA28 Organising Committee. The IBC will be operational for several months before, during and after the competition.
