LTO Program, the consortium made up of IBM, HPE and Quantum, has released a report that contends that LTO is more cost-effective than cloud-based storage options.
“Cloud storage can appear attractive, but what some users don’t realise is there are a lot of hidden costs if you want to retrieve your data. Cloud can quickly get expensive,” said Quantum’s Mark O’Malley.
