Fibre optic signal converters, switches and boosters that are compatible with HDMI, SDI and DVI are being shown at IBC. The Olycom-developed devices transmit HD video signals over long distances, making them suitable for a range of applications including digital signage and KVM.
The converters can transform network signals to fibre and are capable of being used in harsh working environments, the company said.
