BMC TV partners with Neos Networks to expand services beyond London

BMC TV works with broadcasters to deliver major sports events, including the FIFA World Cup, Commonwealth Games and the Wimbledon Tennis Championships

BMC TV, which specialises in moving media over fibre, satellite and the cloud, has expanded its partnership with connectivity provider Neos Networks to support the delivery of live event broadcasts across the UK.

BMC TV works with broadcasters to deliver major sports events, including the FIFA World Cup, Commonwealth Games and the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

By leveraging Neos Networks’ nationwide fibre infrastructure, BMC TV said it intends to extend its LMX Live and LMX Connect services beyond London.

Neos Networks provides diverse fibre routes, high-performance 10Gbps and 100Gbps optical links, and dedicated low-latency circuits, helping BMC TV deliver uncompressed, high-quality video for broadcasters such as BBC, ITV, and major sports production companies, said the company.

“Our ongoing collaboration with Neos Networks is a critical component of BMC TV’s growth strategy,” said Lee Russell, operations director at BMC TV. “Live broadcasting presents unique challenges—there is no margin for delay or failure. Neos Networks’ infrastructure provides the reliability, flexibility, and scale we need to ensure that every live event is delivered flawlessly.”
