IBC’s opening plenary The Rise and Rise of Broadcasting? The Next Chapter… on Thursday 6 September is proof that despite recent threats such as OTT supply of content, audiences around the world will still tune into great TV. Networks will have to work harder and production values cannot be ignored but audiences do exist for high-quality output. In fact, session moderator Ray Snoddy says his session will strongly defend broadcasting’s position and influence over consumers, and he is helped by some very experienced names from the heart of the production community.
