OMG! MTV launches new channel for UK market

Aimed at millennials who are ''obsessed with music and gossip"

Viacom International Media Networks is to launch a new channel into the UK market from 1st March.

MTV OMG is aimed at 16-34 year olds who are “Obsessed with Music and Gossip.”

The channel will launch on 1st March and will be available as a Pay-TV channel on both Sky and Virgin. Programming is set to include The Official Charts: Weekly Top 40.

Kelly Bradshaw, VP, brand lead, MTV UK commented: “We’re really excited to be launching MTV OMG as the latest instalment to our booming MTV music pack. The channel will be a great complement to the rest of our portfolio, bringing audiences all the latest pop culture moments, music and gossip from the world of entertainment.”
