Canal Plus has announced its TF1 channel is showing matches from the Rugby World Cup in 4K.
Rugby fans can watch games from the tournament in Japan on pop-up channel TF1 4K, which will occupy the Canal 4K Event channel to the duration of the tournament.
The broadcaster has also announced that from 30th September, its pay-TV subscribers will be able to view a second football match per week from the English Premier League in 4K.
Canal Plus UHD content is available via its 4K Ultra UHD decoder (for satellite or internet reception), the UHD TV decoder for Orange fibre, Apple TV 4K or a connected Samsung TV via the internet.
