TVBEurope 2020 conference is launched

TVBEurope is proud to announce the launch of a new conference initiative that will bring together its portfolio of seminars into one dedicated week of events.

TVBEurope is proud to announce the launch of a new conference initiative that will bring together its portfolio of seminars into one dedicated week of events.

The focal point of TVBEurope Strategy Week will be TVBEurope 2020, the brand new one-day conference that straddles the connected worlds of UHD and IT infrastructures to examine the strategic challenges companies face as they develop their roadmaps in the run up to 2020.

“Broadcast 2020 forms the centrepiece of TVBEurope Strategy Week, a new initiative that spreads our forums of discussion over a number of days in the form of roundtables, webinars, and the conference itself,” explained James McKeown, TVBEurope’s executive editor.

“We’ve had a successful recent period with our Beyond HD Masters and IT Broadcast Workflow events, but as the strands of discussion within these areas evolve, we felt it was the natural time to examine these opportunities and challenges within one dedicated forum.”

The one-day conference will take place at BAFTA, on London’s Piccadilly, on 30 June. The day’s agenda is being carefully planned to deliver detailed insights and instruction on UHD and IT infrastructures and their future deployment, the risks and rewards of IP for broadcast media entities including CAPEX to OPEX, and whether UHD will be responsible for the death of SDI. There will also be an exploration of the future connected world examining the wider impact of new technologies and UHD on the production workflow, and how companies can remain competitive and profitable as the market evolves.

The TVBEurope 2020 agenda will be confirmed and released shortly. For more information, please contact the TVBEurope sales team on +44 207 354 6000 or via email: [email protected] or [email protected]
